Three arrested, a fourth wanted after vehicle theft in Slave Lake

Three people have been arrested following an alleged robbery earlier this month in Slave Lake.

RCMP in that community say that around 11 a.m. on June 16, a man had cash and his vehicle stolen and was injured as a result of an attack.

The victim had what Mounties say were significant facial injuries, and was treated by EMS personnel.

As a result of their investigation, police have charged 27-year-old Shyanne Louise Davies of Faust with one count each of robbery, aggravated assault, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Two Slave Lake men; 35-year-old Gordon Elwyn MacDonald, and 28-year-old Dakota Richard Auger were both charged with robbery and assault causing bodily harm.

All three were released from custody. Auger is due in court June 28, Davies on July 12, and MacDonald on July 19.

RCMP are also looking for a fourth person in relation to this case: 29-year-old Stephen Mick Favel of Slave Lake. He has been charged with robbery, assault causing bodily harm, and theft of a motor vehicle and a warrant is out for his arrest.
