This year, street performers will be hosting four shows leading up to the festival with a show planned for Wembley on Tuesday, July 18 at noon, then Beaverlodge on Wednesday, July 19 at noon. That will be followed by two shows on July 20, with one in Sexsmith at noon and another planned for later in the day at 5:30 at the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre.

The final lead-up show at the KMSC Theatre will be a Gala Dinner and Show. Tickets are available for $80 by contacting the theatre at 780-538-1616.

All other events are free to attend.

The main festival will then take at Grande Prairie’s City Centre from Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23.

Organizers are encouraging all residents to come out and enjoy the show but ask that all pets be left at home, as they are not allowed on the festival site.

They are also still looking for volunteers for this event. Anyone interested can email director@gpdowntown.ca.
