Work on 68 Avenue to start Monday

City Hall says some road work on 68 Avenue is starting Monday.

New pavements will be installed in the westbound lanes between Knowledge Way and Kateri Drive.

Crews will also be replacing some of the curb, some small repairs to the storm sewer, and re-painting lines and re-doing any landscaping that needs it.

Spot repairs to the eastbound side of 68 Avenue between 100 Street and Poplar Drive are also planned.

The city says the speed limit will be down to 30 kilometres an hour in the construction zone.

The city says crews will work Monday through Saturday and that, if the weather co-operates, the project should be finished by early August.
