Grande Prairie local wins pistol National Championship

A Grande Prairie Woman is now a Pistols National Champion, following the national event in Canmore, this past weekend. (July 21-23)

Liz Gustafson took home the National Champion title for women’s 10-metre pistols and made the podium in two other events, with a 4th and 1st place finish in expert 25-metre pistols, and 3rd in mixed 10-metre teams.

She now sets her eyes on the World Championships being hosted at Baku, Azerbaijan in mid-August.
