Baseball provincials, rodeo happening this long weekend

The Grande Prairie Reds host 18U AA provincials Friday through Sunday at Evergreen Park.

Games will start every day at 9 a.m. and go on all day. The Reds play at noon Friday and 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.

The North Peace Stampede is set for Friday through Sunday at the Lac Cardinal Sports Grounds. All-Pro wagons and chariots every night at 7 p.m. with the pro rodeo on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Field of Dreams Stampede is set for August 8 and 9 in La Crete. Rodeo slack at 10 a.m. on August 9 with main performances on both nights at 7 p.m.

The 101st Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede goes from August 9 to 13. Wagons every night. Rodeo slack on August 11 at 12:30 PST with main performances at 12:30 PST on August 12 and 13.
