Mayor of Grande Prairie offering support and solace to NWT evacuees

The Mayor of Grande Prairie is reacting to the fires in the Northwest Territories.

Jackie Clayton says the City has partnered with the Province to supply staff and resources to evacuees fleeing the fire.

The Grande Prairie Reception Centre at Alliance Church is available for any registered evacuees, and meals are available at the Holiday Inn & Suites and the Friendship Centre.

Clayton says the City is committed to offering evacuees services, information, and solace.
