RCMP seeking witnesses in weapon assault incident

Grande Prairie RCMP are seeking witnesses to an assault with a weapon last week that led to a person sustaining serious injuries.

Police were called to the area of 100 Avenue and 96 Street on August 13 at approximately 4:25 a.m., following reports of a male sustaining serious injuries after being assaulted with a weapon.

Anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have dash cam footage from the area between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. are asked to contact the detachment at 780-830-5701 or your local police.
