Activity & Reception Centre reopened to public

The Activity & Reception Centre in Grande Prairie has re-opened to the public.
The centre was closed as of August 16 as it was re-purposed as a temporary shelter for evacuees fleeing the fires in the Northwest territories.
The recreational facility was designed to function as an emergency response centre if necessary and was utilized due to high hotel capacity levels.
The mobile skate park is also moving back to the centre for the season, the City is thanking the public for their support as they provide aid to our regional neighbours.
