The Canadian National Railway is sponsoring youth drop-in times at the Grande Prairie Activity & Reception Centre from now until August 2024.

Activities like floor hockey, disc golf, basketball and more for youth aged 10 -17 will take place Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Free transit will be available to youth aged 17 and younger who have received a SUPERPASS card from their school or City Hall and children 6-9 are welcome to attend provided they have parent supervision.

The Centre re-opened to the public Friday after serving as a shelter for Northwest territory residents escaping the wildfires up north.
