Girlzone returns Saturday

Girlzone is back in Grande Prairie on Saturday, September 9.

The activity-based day has returned for another year to encourage girls aged 10 to 15 to try out new skills and recreational activities with their peers.

The event takes place across multiple facilities from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and allows participants to try out the following activities in 50-minute sessions:

• Cooking at the Eastlink Centre
• Yoga with Bliss Be Fit at the Eastlink Centre
• Squash fundamentals at the Eastlink Centre
• Learn to play pickleball at the Eastlink Centre
• Soccer with Swan City FC at the St. Joe’s Football Field
• Bike skills with Nitehawk at South Bear Creek Park
• Clay craft at South Bear Creek Pavilion
