Nominations open for annual Volunteer Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteers’ annual Volunteer Awards.

These awards will be given out at a celebration breakfast planned for later this year to commemorate International Volunteers Day.

The three awards you can nominate local volunteers for:

The Leaders of Tomorrow Awards –

• Nominate kids aged 13-15 and 16-18 who go above and beyond to give back to their community and embody all the qualities of a leader.

The Volunteer of the Year Award –

• Nominate any community member who has shown a strong commitment to the community and volunteerism in the last 12 months.

The Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award –

• Nominate a company that has made a strong commitment to helping local not-for-profits, and has tied volunteerism into its work culture. (Self-nominations are allowed)
