Local products playing at Saville Shootout this weekend

Curling returns this weekend with events that include the Saville Shootout in Edmonton.

Some players with Peace Country connections are taking part.

Team Skrlik, which includes Nampa-raised sisters Kayla and Ashton Skrlik, will play their first game against Edmonton’s Abby Marks in Friday’s 8:30 a.m. draw.

Scott Webb’s Grande Prairie rink will play Team Catlin Schneider at 11 a.m. Friday.

Schneider’s rink includes BC Peace curlers Jason Ginter and Sterling Middleton.
