Second annual Harvest Festival returns to Muskoseepi Park

The 2nd Annual Grande Prairie Harvest Festival is set to return to Muskoseepi Park, Saturday, September 16.

Running at the park from noon to 4 p.m. the festival will feature a wide variety of free and fun games and activities, such as:

  • Live music
  • Spirit and wine-tasting
  • Pie-eating contest
  • Hobby horse racing
  • Fall-themed games and activities
  • Bouncy castles
  • Petting zoo
  • Cultural dancing

Mayor Jackie Clayton, spoke about the various activities in a release from city hall, saying “The Harvest Festival includes many fun and age-inclusive activities to get the whole community involved while celebrating a change of the season.”

She added, “An important piece of ensuring a high quality of life for our residents includes hosting events where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities feel welcome.”

All the activities and games will be set up around the Amphitheatre in Muskoseepi Park.
