Nedohin leads Team Homan to victory at Saville Shootout

A Peace Region product stepped in to skip Team Homan at curling’s Saville Shootout in Edmonton and ended up leading the team to victory.

Heather Nedohin and Team Homan beat Team Jones 7-6 in an extra end in Monday’s final.

Regular skip Rachel Homan recently had a baby.

Team Jones was also led by a substitute skip, Chelsea Carey.

On the men’s side, Brendan Bottcher defeated Catlin Schneider 4-2 in the final.
