Survey Responses Wanted

Immigrant feedback wanted for survey to help newcomers in Grande Prairie

The Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership is seeking feedback from local immigrants 16 years or older to participate in a survey to share their personal experiences with living in the community, with a chance to win $500 towards gas and groceries.

The survey responses will be used to help improve the lives of newcomers, immigrants, and refugees in Grande Prairie.

Topics in the survey include:

  • Demographic information
  • Employment and income
  • Use of community services
  • Housing
  • Sense of belonging
  • Challenges and solutions
  • Communication

Immigrants have until September 30 to submit their responses online and is available in English, French, Filipino, Punjabi, Hindi, Arab, Ukrainian, and other languages when opened in a Google Chrome browser.

The Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership supports newcomers and immigrants to welcome them to the community and integrate them. GPLIP also says it helps local organizations to work together to serve newcomers and immigrants as well as guides the development of strategies to make the community better for all.
