Team Canada goes to five with Dominican Republic at Olympic Qualifier

It was an intense marathon match-up for the Canadian women on Sunday at the FIVB Olympic Qualifier Tournament in Ningbo, China.

Team Canada fought hard, but in the end lost to the Dominican Republic in five sets (25-17, 22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-12).

The Dominican Republic team is also the recent gold medalist at the Continental Championship held earlier this month in Quebec.

Canada next plays Serbia at 7:00 p.m. Alberta time on Monday, September 18).
