Tenille Townes wins fifth consecutive CCMA for Female Vocalist of the Year

Grande Prairie’s very own made a historic milestone at the Canadian Country Music Awards over the weekend.

Tenille Townes is now the record holder for the most consecutive wins for the CCMA”s Female Vocalist of the Year; at five!

Not only did Townes pick up her fifth Female Vocalist of the Year CCMA, but two more awards to add to her growing collection:

• Songwriters of the Year for The Thing That Wrecks You by Bryan Adams, Daniel Tashian, Tenille Townes, and Kate York
• Country Music Program/Special of the Year for Christmas Time with Tenille Townes 2022

Townes now has 17 CCMA’s since her first win in 2019.
