Swanavon School upgrades playground with $15k donation from Kal Tire

The Grande Prairie Public School Division has upgraded the grounds of Swanavon School’s playground.

Grande Prairie’s Kal Tire donated $15,000 to the school division through their Kal’s Replay Fund to allow for the purchase of 28,000 pounds of recycled rubber mulch to enrich the school’s outdoor environment.

Principal of Swanavon School, Garth Paquette says the rubber mulch purchase is part of ongoing efforts to revitalize the 65-year-old school and grounds and is incredibly grateful for the donation.

The GPPSD is thanking Kal Tire for the donation, helping support student success, and improve the community and environment.
