Team Canada beats host China in five sets at Olympic Qualifier

It was a nail-biter match between host China and Team Canada, going to five sets at the Women’s FIVB Olympic Qualification Tournament on Wednesday.

Three sets were decided within two points, with the Canadians coming out on top 3-2.

Team Canada was aggressive, leading in attack points (76-66), despite a lowly loss on Tuesday to Serbia 0-3.

Wanham’s Quinn Pelland is on Team Canada. She is #26.

The ladies are now 2-2 and sit fifth in Pool A. They have three games left to play, their next match-up is on Thursday against Ukraine, who are 0-4.
