Storm open registration for development program

The e Grande Prairie Storm have opened registration for the 2023 Fall Development Program, for kids in U9 and U11.

There are eight skates planned, with the program running once a week from October 11 to December 5, on Wednesdays and Tuesdays, depending on the age group.

In the release, the sessions are said to have a big focus on individual skills instead of a more broad team play, helping each child develop their own style of game. Participants will learn tips and tricks from Junior A players and the Storm coaching staff.

The program also offers goalie registration for a reduced price, as sessions won’t feature one-on-one goalie sessions, but will just be about general development.

All skates will take place at the Bonnett’s Energy Centre with U9 running from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Wednesdays. U11 will take place on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Unless otherwise noted)
