RCMP Missing Persons Unit conducting aerial searches in Peace River-Wabasca area

Provinicial RCMP will be above in the sky today, conducting aerial searches over the vast land mass between Peace River and Wabasca.

Alberta Mounties with the Missing Persons Unit say they do this work on an annual basis over rivers, in hopes of finding new information on reported missing persons to advance investigations.

Those with information on the whereabouts of a missing person are asked to call 911, their local police, or attend their local police station in person.

There is no amount of time that needs to pass before reporting a person missing to the RCMP.
