Mobile mammography unit in Hythe this month

Alberta Health Services mobile mammography unit will be stationed in Hythe later this month, for women to access the Screen Test program to check up on their breast health.

Screen Test takes a mammogram, which is an x-ray of the breast to detect cancer.

Mammograms have been proven the most effective way to detect breast cancer. Early detection provides a greater amount of treatment options and a greater chance of survival.

The mobile mammography trailer will be at the Hythe Legion located at 9818, 100 Avenue, from October 23 to 25.
