Beaverlodge RCMP lay second-degree murder charges
Beaverlodge RCMP, with support from other RCMP divisions, have taken a suspect into custody, following a report from EMS about suspicious injuries.
EMS were transporting a Horse Lake man to a hospital on October 8, and noticed suspicious injuries, which led them to contact the RCMP. The man did make it to the hospital, however, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Alberta Major Crimes Unit then took over the investigation, with support from Beaverlodge RCMP, the Grande Prairie Forensic Unit, and the Western Alberta District General Investigation Section.
As a result of their joint-investigation, 36-year-old, Horse Lake resident, Carmon Ferguson was charged with second-degree murder.
