Fairview Health Complex ED without a doctor for 24 hours

The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department will be without a doctor for 24 hours, starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17.

However, AHS says it is a temporary disruption, and coverage could still be found.

If no coverage is found, nursing staff will remain on-site to perform urgent triage, and assessments, and refer patients to other facilities, until a doctor returns at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18.

EMS will also be re-routing calls to neighboring facilities, so residents are still encouraged to call 911 in case of an emergency.
