Grande Prairie EA charged with sexual assault

Grande Prairie RCMP says they received a tip last month, regarding an educational assistant (EA) having a potentially inappropriate relationship with a youth.

This led to an investigation.

As a result, a 23-year-old Grande Prairie woman, Brooke Richer is facing three charges:

• Sexual assault
• Sexual exploitation
• Luring a child

Richer was then brought before a justice of the peace, and was released with a court date set for November 8.
