One person dead after head-on collision near Slave Lake

Slave Lake RCMP say one person is dead after a head-on collision Sunday on Highway 2.
Police got a report of the crash just after 12:30 p.m.
Mounties say their investigation found that a pick-up was going north about 28 kilometres south of Slave Lake when it crossed the centre line and collided with a southbound pick-up.
The 64-year-old woman from High Level driving the northbound truck died at the scene. The woman driving the other truck was taken to hospital in Edmonton with what police describe as serious but non-life threatening injuries.
