Savanna School and Savanna Daycare are partnering to create a new space for daycare clients and students.
The institutions are embarking on a $30,000 project to build a sensory room, ensuring students have the right tools and environment to navigate through sensory experiences.
The room will stimulate and develop sensory skills through lighting effects, colours, sounds, and sensory soft play objects, all beneficial to children and individuals with sensory processing disorders like ADHD or Autism.
The project is being funded in large part by a $20,000 grant from Saddle Hills County and is expected to be complete by January 2024.
