County of Grande Prairie Reeve acclaimed at latest council meeting

The Reeve for the County of Grande Prairie has been re-elected.
Division 5 Councillor Bob Marshall was acclaimed to his position during County Council’s annual organizational meeting held Monday, October 30, with Division 7 Councillor Brian Peterson joining him as the newly elected Deputy Reeve.
Marshall has been a member of council since 2013 and was first elected as Reeve in 2022, while Peterson was first elected to council in 2021.
Council took time at the meeting to express gratitude to outgoing Deputy Reeve Peter Harris, who held the position since 2019, and will remain on as the Division 6 Councillor.
