Woking shooter competes at Pan Am Games

Woking’s Liz Gustafson competed for Canada in the shooting competition at the Pan Am Games in Santiago, Chile.

Gustafson did not make the medal round in the women’s 25-metre air pistol category.

She tied for first in the precision round but was tied for 19th in the rapid fire round.

Competitors from Mexico, Ecuador and the US won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.

As of October 31, Canada had won 105 medals in Santiago, 33 of them gold.
