UPDATE: Highway 43 open again after crash

UPDATE: A caller to Big Country 93.1 says the crash on westbound Highway 43 near Township Road 724 has been cleared up.

511 Alberta no longer has a notification on its map.

A caller says there has been a crash on westbound Highway 43 near the Wembley turnoff close to the dinosaur museum.

Emergency vehicles are on scene. Another caller says that includes five ambulances.

511 Alberta says there are lane closures on Highway 43 near Township Road 724. It also cautions that there are speed reductions and traffic congestion. Drivers should be prepared to stop.
