AHS says no doctor will be at the Fairview Health Complex ED for part of Friday

Alberta Health Services says the emergency department at the Fairview Health Complex will be without a doctor from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday November 3.

AHS says people can still call 911 in an emergency as calls will be rerouted to neighbouring hospitals.

Nursing staff will be on shift and handling triage, assessments and referrals.

AHS says non-emergency help is also available around the clock, seven days a week, by calling Health Link at 811.
