Beaverlodge ED without physician coverage Friday

Alberta Health Services says the emergency department at the Beaverlodge Regional Hospital will be without an on-site physician Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Nurses will still be there for assessments and referrals.

People can still call 911 during an emergency. Paramedics will be rerouted to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.

For non-emergency help, Health Link is available at 811 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
