Nov 4, 2023 | 2:51 PM

The freezing rain warnings issued earlier have ended.

The forecast from Environment Canada says there is a chance of showers and flurries overnight with a risk of freezing rain and a low of -1.

There is a chance of flurries Sunday morning with a predicted high of 6.

Environment Canada still has a snowfall warning in place for parts of the BC Peace, including Hudson’s Hope, Wonowon, Pink Mountain, Sikanni Chief, Buckinghorse River, and Trutch.

Ten to 15 centimetres of snow could fall by Saturday night.

There is a special weather statement in place for the Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, and Pouce Coupe areas.

The weather office is waring of ice build-up from freezing rain.
