Farmfair International starts this week

A lot of people involved in agriculture in the Peace will be headed to Edmonton for Farmfair International.

The event that calls itself Alberta’s largest beef cattle show will run from November 8 to 11 at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Doors will open at 8 a.m. daily. Admission is free.

The show’s website says it attracts exhibitors from across western Canada.

There are 15 breeds of cattle included in the dozen breed shows.

There are four other shows as well for cattle, including Ultimate Legends, Junior Futurity, Prospect Steer and Heifer Show and the Bull Pen Show.
