The North Peace Hockey League is back on the ice today. (Thursday, November 9)

The Grande Prairie A’s kick off the action, coming off a come-from-behind shootout win over Fort St. John last weekend.

They will face off with a Manning Comet’s squad, who currently sits at second in the North division.

The game will be at the Design Works Centre, starting at 8:30 p.m.

Then on Saturday, Dawson Creek takes on the Spirit River Rangers in Spirit River, Fort St John visits Manning to take on the Comet’s, and the A’s are in Valleyview playing the Jets.

All games will start at 8:30 p.m.

NWJHL

The Northwest Junior Hockey League has one more day off before re-igniting the action on Friday, November 10.

Tomorrow, Beaverlodge will be in Peace River, Sexsmith faces off with Fort St. John, and the Wheat Kings visit Fairview.

All those games will start at 8 p.m.

One lone game on Saturday, as Dawson Creek will be in La Crete for a 7 p.m. puck drop

Finally, on Sunday, Fairview takes on Peace River at 12:15 p.m.

Dawson Creek heads to La Crete with a 1:30. start time.

Fort St. John makes the trek to the County Sportsplex to play the Wheat Kings in a rematch of last year’s league final, and Beaverlodge is in Sexsmith taking on the Vipers

Both those games will start at 2.
