Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle campaign returns

The Salvation Army will be kicking off its Christmas Kettle Campaign on Thursday, November 16, at Canadian Tire.

Starting at noon, Lisa Miller from the GP Canadian Tire will be making the first donation, joined by Anakin Skywalker’s 501st Legion, dressed up in their Star Wars attire.

In a release, the Salvation Army says this campaign is crucial to the programs they support year-round, such as foodbank services, toy hampers, summer camps, and counseling.

Salvation Army adds they are still looking for Kettle Volunteers, which operate in two-hour shifts.
