Bull moose shot and left for waste south of Grande Prairie
On November 6, Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Services were made aware of an antlered moose that was shot and left to waste south of Grande Prairie and are now asking for the publics assistance in their investigation.
It is believed the animal was killed approximately between November 4 and 5 and it’s death has been confirmed from being shot.
The moose was located in the ditch along the South Imperial Road, six kilometers east of Highway 40, south of Grande Prairie.
Fish and Wildlife say the moose would have been edible for consumption and there were no signs or injuries from vehicle collision found.
