UPDATE: RCMP say Highway 2 collision cleared

UPDATE: Grande Prairie Rural RCMP say that the collision on Highway 2 Northbound, near Range Road 674 is now clear.

Grande Prairie Rural RCMP is currently on the scene of a collision on Highway 2, near Highway 674.

No fatalities have been reported but an investigation is still ongoing, and Mounties say they have uncovered varying degrees of injury.

In the release, Mounties reported the Northbound lanes on Highway 2 are now closed, with Southbound lanes moving “considerably slowly.”
