St. Joe’s Celtics graduate now University of Alberta offensive guard Matthew Ljuden has been named a second-team All-Canadian in USports.
He is one of two Golden Bears on the second team.
Two others are first-team All-Canadians.
The Golden Bears made it as far as the Canada West final this year, where they lost to UBC 28-27 on a last-play touchdown.
The Thunderbirds will now play the University of Montreal in the Vanier Cup on Saturday in Kingston, Ontario.
