County Council funding TV service for GPRH

The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital will be getting some new televisions for patients to use.

At Monday’s meeting, County of Grande Prairie Council approved reallocating one million dollars for the installation of television services at the hospital.

The money came from a funding injection the Council made in 2020, to support a bedside engagement system.

In an email from the County of Grande Prairie, they discussed significant delays installing the system, which prompted council to request GPRHF to develop a proposal to use a portion of the funds for television services.
