Alberta Pond Hockey Championships set for March 8-10

The Municipal District of Peace is once again hosting one of the biggest winter events in the Mighty Peace next March.

The Alberta Pond Hockey championships will be taking place in Lac Cardinal Provincial Park, featuring many teams of four going head-to-head on a frozen pond in celebration of hockey’s origins.

Registration costs $500 per team, with five divisions for teams to compete in; Women’s, Recreational, Old Timers, and Junior for kids 5 to 12 to play in for free.

A Ringette Division is also open for registration.
