Grande Prairie RCMP release November crime stats

The number of police events responded to by Grande Prairie RCMP went up in November compared to the same time last year.

Grande Prairie RCMP have released their monthly newsletter showing there was a total of 2612 police events in the city in November and 561 in rural areas.

Both totals exceed last year’s number of 2305 and 501 respectively.

Motor vehicle theft had the largest increase compared to last year, going from 19 incidents to 22 in the city and from 4 to 12 in rural communities.
