Grande Prairie Museum celebrates sports history with Lace ’em Up exhibit

The Grande Prairie Museum is celebrating the region’s sports history.

The new Lace ’em Up exhibit showcases participation in sporting events from 1995 to 2018 as they gear up for major events in 2024 and 2025.

Artifacts, photos, and memorabilia from various sports events like the 1995 Canada Winter Games, the 2010 Arctic Winter Games, the 2018 Alberta Summer Games, and more will be on display, alongside games and activities for all ages like foosball, bubble hockey, and floor curling.

Lace ’em Up will be featured at the Grande Prairie Museum’s Campbell/Rodacker Gallery from now until April.
