PRSD developing new scholarship with endowment gift

Peace River High School students will have access to a new scholarship made in honor of a former Peace River Mayor Michael Procter.
The Peace River School Division Board of Trustees accepted a scholarship endowment gift from the estate of Michael Proctor, who served as Mayor of Peace River for four terms from 1986 to 1998.
The Board has chosen to form a committee to handle the disbursement of the scholarship, with membership seeking representatives from Peace River High School, the Board, and central office administration.
