Northwestern Polytechnic announces onward and upward scholarship recipient

Northwestern Polytechnic has announced the current recipient of the Rheaume Family Foundation Scholarship.

Beaverlodge Regional High School graduateJared Wilson was awarded the scholarship for his remarkable determination and perseverance as he pursues his goal of becoming a Marine Biologist.

The Onward and Upward scholarship grants up to $40,000 to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional resilience in the face of adversity.

Jared expressed gratitude to the foundation and NWP for the Scholarship, noting he may not have been able to pursue post-secondary education without it.

Lorilee Rheaume, one of the creators of the scholarship says Jared was selected for his desire to further his education to better himself and his appreciation for post-secondary education.
