Fairview Health Complex ED without a doctor twice

The Fairview Health Complex will be without a physician in the ED for two 24-hour periods between Tuesday, January 2, and Saturday, January 6.

The first 24-hour disruption will go into effect Tuesday, January 2 at 7 a.m., re-opening back up Wednesday, January 3.

The second disruption is also set to start at 7 a.m. on Friday, January 5, with a doctor scheduled to be back in the ED on Saturday, January 6 starting at 7 a.m.

AHS says these disruptions are temporary and coverage could potentially be found, which would result in the disruption being canceled

However, during the disruptions nursing staff will remain on-site to perform urgent triage, assessments, and referrals.
