Fog advisories in place for parts of the Peace

Environment Canada still has a fog advisory in place for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area.

A fog advisory is also now in place for the Peace River Fairview-High Prairie-Manning forecast area.

There was fog causing reduced visibility earlier on Wednesday.

The weather office says fog patches will turn into fog Wednesday night with that fog going back to fog patches by noon on Thursday.

The forecast is also calling for fog patches Thursday night but a sunny sky on Friday.

There are also advisories in places for areas stretching from Fox Creek and Whitecourt to Okotoks and High River.

Mayerthorpe, Rocky Mountain House, Spruce Grove and Calgary are among the other areas in Alberta that also have such advisories in place.
