Nominations open for Alberta Order of Excellence

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Alberta residents are encouraged to make nominations for community members, leaders and innovators, who they think should receive the province’s highest honour.

The Order recognizes citizens who have made a meaningful, lasting contribution to their communities. It was established in 1979, and since then, 212 Albertans have been named to the order.

Recipients from the Peace include David Leonard, Bill Bowes, Walter Paszkowski and Paulette Patterson.

Nominations must be delivered to the Order by February 15, 2023, to be considered for this year. However, nominations are accepted year-round.
