Peace Country Beef & Forage Association hosting conference for women in agriculture

Female entrepreneurs and farming professionals in the Peace are invited to attend a conference later this month to discuss their role in local agriculture.

Northern Women in Alberta: A Conference to Remember will be hosted by the Peace Country Beef & Forage Association.

It will feature representatives from Farm Credit Canada, the Dawson Creek Vet. Clinic, Burnt River Ranch and more.

The conference will present topics like small-scale farming, being a ranch mom, and how to support women entrepreneurs.

It’s happening at Fairview’s Dunvegan Inn January 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and pre-registration is required.
