HFCRD developing scholarship for Glenmary graduates

The estate of former Peace River Mayor Michael Procter is providing a scholarship opportunity to graduates of Glenmary High School.
The Holy Family Catholic Division Board of Trustees has accepted an endowment gift from the estate to develop a scholarship in Procter’s name following his passing last August.
Procter is remembered for valuing education and was often seen attending school events like sports, graduations, and science fairs.
The Peace River School Division Board of Trustees also accepted an endowment gift from Procter’s estate and will work with HFCRD to create the criteria for the application and disbursement of the scholarship.
